Critics Outraged After Girls Get Injured By Transgender Athlete

Riley Gaines, women’s rights activists and former professional athlete, criticized Democratic Governor Maura Healey of Massachusetts for an unsettling incident that involved a transgender male athlete.

transgender male athlete on video causing deliberate harm to female players during a basketball game in February.

Suspended

Lazuli was handed down a suspension from the women’s rowing team at a private club because of incidents that involved making inappropriate comments in the locker rooms.

Lazuli Clark

Lazuli Clark, who was a student at Kipp Academy, and was known for her height of being over six feet tall,

Has been participating in the women’s division of sports, including basketball, rowing, volleyball, track & field, and taekwondo.

Women’s Sports

It was later revealed that the athlete had participated in multiple other sports on women’s teams,

And it was reported that they made inappropriate comments to girls in the locker rooms while they were attempting to change their clothes.

The Incident

The incident was detailed in a letter to the United States Rowing Association dated on October 12,2022, from 15 parents of the students,

It was mentioned that Lazuli originally had competed poorly on the men’s team prior to joining the women’s team without adhering to the dress code.

A report from Quillette revealed that the situation in the locker room led to the student being reported to the U.S. Center for SafeSport by team officials,

This ultimately ended with Lazuli Clark being banned from participating in rowing for either team.

“Stop letting these pervs hide behind preferred pronouns and blurred out images”

Gaines went on to say,

“This photo was proudly posted by the school therefore it’s public domain. Name and shame them. Lazuli Clark is a man that sexually harassed women,”

Forced

She said,

“These girls were forced to participate in his sick fetish at the hands of @MassGovernor,”

Absent Parents

Gaines prompted questions about the absence of parents, specifically fathers, in this situation.

She made the suggestion that parents, especially fathers, should be advocating for their daughters againsts institutions, schools, and states that are giving permission to biological males to compete in women’s sports.

“Where are the dads of these girls?” Gaines asked. Opponents of unrestricted transgender participation in certain sports voice concerns about preserving a fair competition.
